2023 Kia Forte5 Review

Kia has a unique version of its Forte compact car for you to explore in the 2023 Kia Forte5. This version is different from the standard Forte for how the Forte5 offers added cargo room and more storage functionality. The Forte5 also offers more standard features, particularly various safety features that will keep everyone safe while in the vehicle.

The 2023 Kia Forte5 has a spacious interior that can fit up to five people. You can get 42.2 inches of legroom in the front row and 35.6 inches in the rear. The 60-40 split folding rear seat can also expand how much space you have in your trunk. The hatchback-inspired trunk design lets you get access to your cargo space in moments.

The inside offers a comfortable black seating surface, with the GT Limited trim featuring a synthetic leather seating layout. All trims will feature heated front seats, height-adjustable front seats, and a thorough air conditioning system. You’ll also find a rear centre armrest in the GT and GT Limited trims.

The GT and GT Limited trims support the Kia Connect system. This feature lets you connect to your vehicle from your smartphone. The smartphone app will let you activate the engine and adjust other settings before you enter the vehicle. You can also securely send access to your Forte5 to other authorized users through the app.

The exterior has a classic look with plenty of contours on the sides and matching trim and mirror accents. The EX trim has 16-inch wheels, while the other two trims feature 18-inch wheels.

The 2023 Kia Forte5 offers a four-cylinder engine that can get you where you need to go with ease. The EX trim has a 2.0L MPI engine, while the GT and GT Limited trims have a 1.6L Turbo GDI engine with a double clutch transmission that keeps the car running smoothly.

All three trims offer multiple standard safety features. In addition to six airbags and a hill assist control feature, you’ll also enjoy preventative safety features like a lane keep assist and drive attention alert system.

Don’t forget about the outstanding warranty programs Kia offers to its customers. Kia provides a five-year powertrain warranty and a full warranty on first-year adjustments. Kia also offers a roadside assistance plan for the first five years, so you’ll receive protection from Kia no matter where you go.

You will find many things to love in the 2023 Kia Forte5. Kia West in Coquitlam is here to help you learn more about the Forte5, as we can schedule a test drive to help you see the vehicle firsthand. Kia West is your Authorized Kia Dealer and is here to help, so contact us today.

2024 Kia Carnival Review

The 2024 Kia Carnival is the latest edition of this gas-powered minivan. The 2024 edition is the company’s follow-up to the Car and Driver Editors’ Choice minivan from last year. You can find this exciting model at Kia West, your Authorized Kia Dealer.

The 2024 Carnival is available in five trims. You can order the eight-passenger LX, LX+, EX, or EX+ trim with removable second-row seats and a 60:40 folding third row. There’s also the seven-passenger SX trim with luxury captain’s chairs with leg rests in the second row. You can enjoy cloth seating in the LX and LX+ trims or luxurious leather seating in the EX, EX+, and SX trims. All of these trims are available in various colours, with the SX trim offering an optional two-tone leather seating setup.

The inside includes a trip computer, Bluetooth connectivity, and support for Android Auto and Apple Pay systems. A tri-zone climate control system automatically adjusts the heating and cooling based on preset temperature settings. The automatic defogging system also helps keep the windows clear in all situations. The EX+ and SX trims come with a passenger view camera to help you see what’s happening inside the cabin, plus these trims feature a 12.3-inch LCD/TFT display to help you review everything in your vehicle.

You can adjust how the seating works in the 2024 Carnival to help you transport more cargo as necessary. The vehicle has 40.22 cu. ft. of cargo room when all seats are up. But you can fold down the third row and remove or fold down the second row seats as necessary to get up to 145.14 cu. ft. of cargo space. You can also tow up to 1,587.5 kg when the vehicle is equipped for towing.

The 3.5L V6 engine uses a Multi-Point Injection system to measure how much fuel enters each cylinder. The design improves how well the engine works, which is necessary when you’re planning on a more extended trip.

You’ll also be assured of your safety while driving, as the Carnival includes features like a blind spot collision-avoidance feature that actively moves your vehicle from a surrounding one. The forward collision-avoidance assist feature also automatically triggers the brakes if the vehicle detects a possible collision. An available blind spot view monitor also shows what’s in a mirror-mounted camera when you’re turning or shifting lanes, helping you see if there’s anything in your blind spot.

All of these features are protected by one of the best warranties in the industry. You will enjoy a five-year, 100,000 km comprehensive warranty that covers most of your vehicle. Your warranty also includes coverage for the powertrain, plus you’ll get five years of unlimited roadside assistance for cases where a mechanical breakdown might occur.

You will enjoy the ride when you’re in the 2024 Kia Carnival, one of the top minivans available today. Be sure to contact us at Kia West for more details on how the Carnival works and to schedule a test drive.
